Just over a 2 years ago I started an exciting initiative “Day Pro – Lead & Inspire” with these three goals:
1. Cultivate Leadership.
2. Inspire Courage.
3. Play a role in motivating our great nation.
As part of the initiative I host a variety of workshops and conduct inspirational keynote talks. These instill fundamental skills for both personal growth, teamwork and leadership. The focus was predominantly on the corporate environment, but, as the initiative evolved we launched the Lead & Inspire Youth Program. The first high school to take part in the program was Protea Heights Academy with the focus on public speaking – a core leadership skill. It has been a privilege to work with these youngsters over the last few months. It has given me hope that our future is not all bleak as is often portrayed, but has rather shown that there is great hope and promise for the times ahead.
